Anne Birk

Anne Birk (actually: Rosemarie Tietz, nee Schumacher ) ( born August 20, 1942 in Trossingen, † 29 July, 2009 Esslingen ) was a German writer.

Life

Rosemarie Schumacher was the daughter of an elementary school teacher and grew up in Tuttlingen. She studied German and English and was a high school teacher in Esslingen, where she lived from 1969 until her death. Around 1980 they began also with their literary activity. She was a jury member in the Art Foundation and on the Board of the Sponsorship German writer Baden- Württemberg as well as one of the founders of the initiative writing women in Baden- Württemberg. As a pseudonym she chose the maiden name of her mother.

Her husband Gerold Tietz was also a writer. The couple was childless; Gerold Tietz died just days before his wife on July 24, 2009.

Works

Anne Birk wrote the trilogy on German history asters in Frost ( 1999), White spots on the wall (2000) and ostracism ( 2002). The plot places Trossingen and Tuttlingen, camouflaged in the books that are based on the youth and childhood memories of her mother, in part. In addition, the novel Carlos or Intended ravages appeared in our flourishing provinces. The novel No wonder was not published during her lifetime.

In addition to these novels Anne Birk wrote, among other things, yet the play nest-fouling and gave unreasonable demands - out women and a paragraph. This book explores the compulsion counseling under paragraph 218

At Birks works include the stories The Prime Minister, Bernie's rescue, the next time I bring roses or Why Descartes refuses to bathe his mother and exam 68 The latter is about the student life in Tübingen in the 1960s.

Posthumously published the stories Four short stories / Four Short Stories (2012 ).
