Anne Carr

Anne Carr (* 1934, † 11 February 2008) was an American Roman Catholic nun, theologian and university lecturer.

Life

Carr studied Roman Catholic theology at Mundelein College in Chicago and at Marquette University. Her dissertation she wrote in 1971 at the Divinity School of the University of Chicago about the German theologian Karl Rahner. She taught as a high school teacher Roman Catholic theology at the University of Chicago Divinity School from 1975. 1984 she signed the Campaign A Catholic Statement on Pluralism and Abortion. She went as a nun in the Order of Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
