Anne-Marie Hurst

Anne -Marie Hurst was the singer of the English band The Elements, Skeletal Family and Ghost Dance.

Anne Marie Hurst was until 1982 the singer of the band The Elements, before she helped 17 -year-old to start Skeletal Family. With Skeletal Family, she released two LPs and one compilation album. This band she left in 1985 due to " personal and musical differences" and, together with Gary Marx ( founding member of The Sisters of Mercy ), the band Ghost Dance. Ghost Dance published a few EPs, a compilation LP, as well as a studio album and dissolved shortly after losing their record contract in 1990.

2002 was Anne-Marie Hurst participate in some reunion concerts of Skeletal Family, but said their participation in the short term from family reasons. In July 2009, she announced her comeback on their MySpace page. Since autumn 2009, they are again concerts, composed of Skeletal Family guitarist Stan Greenwood, where even pieces of their former bands were played. On their official website, a new album is announced for 2011, some new pieces have been played at concerts.
