Anne, Princess Royal
HRH Anne Elizabeth Alice, Princess Royal ( born August 15, 1950) is a member of the British royal family.
Life
Princess Anne was born in Clarence House (London) and is after her brother Prince Charles, the second child and only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
At the time of Anne's birth was Anne's grandfather George VI. King, her mother Elizabeth was heir to the throne, followed by Prince Charles and Princess Anne. Princess Anne was of 14 November 1973 to 28 April 1992, Captain Mark Phillips ( born September 22, 1948) married (1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards ). The couple has two children, Peter Phillips ( b. 1977 ) and Zara Phillips ( b. 1981 ).
The family lived in Gatcombe Park, which is the private residence of the princess today.
As the second oldest child and only daughter of the monarch, she was awarded in 1987 by her mother in recognition of their special use of the title Princess Royal.
After her divorce she married on 12 December 1992 Commander Timothy Laurence.
