Annegret Kroniger

Starting for the Federal Republic - - Annegret Kroniger (* September 24, 1952 in Bochum) is a former German track and field athlete who is at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal won the silver medal in the 4 x 100 - meter relay ( 42.59 s, together with Inge Helten, Annegret Richter and Elvira Possekel ). In the 200 -meter run these games she was disqualified in the flow.

Other successes

Kroniger belonged until 1971 to the USC Bochum, then the USC Mainz. In her playing days, she was 1.71 m tall and weighed 60 kg. She denied 30 international matches since 1976 recipient of the Silver Laurel leaf. After her retirement in 1977 she admitted to having doped with anabolic steroids. She was married to high jumper Walter Boller.
