Annemarie Heinrich

Annemarie Heinrich ( born January 9, 1912 in Darmstadt, German Empire, † September 22, 2005 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) was an Argentine photographer of German origin.

Life

Annemarie Heinrich was (according to other sources in Dresden) was born in Darmstadt in 1912. She grew up in Berlin, to the family in 1926 for economic and political reasons, emigrated to Argentina. There she began her photographic training in Larroque and opened her first photography studio at the age of 19 years. 1938, a first exhibition of her photos. Soon she specializes mainly on portraits as well as dance, fashion and nude photography.

Henry was known primarily for her recordings of Argentine stars. She photographed, among others, Eva Perón, Armando Bó, Flora Nudelman, Zully Moreno, Mirtha Legrand, Ernesto Bianco, Graciela Borges, Isabel Sarli, Tita Merello, Graciela Borges, Pinky, Bárbara Mujica, Susana Freyre, Susana Giménez and Mercedes Sosa.

From 1950, her works were also shown around the world in various exhibitions. She was a member of the Society of German photographic artist, the Consejo Argentino de Fotografia, La Carpeta de los Dias and the Asociación de la Danza. From the Fédération International de l ' Photographic Art Heinrich was named Honorable exelencia FIAP. In 1992 she was made ​​an honorary citizen of Buenos Aires. In 2001 she was awarded at the Primera Bienal Internacional de Arte de Buenos Aires with the price of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes.

In September 2005, Annemarie Heinrich died at the age of 93 years in Buenos Aires. She was buried in the German section of the Cementerio de la Chacarita. Henry was married to the writer Ricardo Sanguinetti. She left behind two children, Alice and Ricardo Sanguinetti, who are also active as a photographer.
