Annette Dobmeier

Annette Dobmeier ( born February 10, 1968 in Tauberbischofsheim ) is a former German fencer from the Federal Republic of Germany, the 1992 Olympic silver medalist with the team.

The foil fencer from FC Tauberbischofsheim reached at the 1989 World Fencing Championships in the individual competition, the semi-final and finished at the end of the fourth. In the team competition, she won together Anja Fichtel, Sabine construction, Susanne Lang and Zita Funkhauser the title before the Soviet team. 1990 occupied the German team only ranked fifth, won at the World Fencing Championships 1991 Construction, Fichtel, radio Hauser and Rosalia Huszti the bronze medal, Annette Dobmeier was the fifth German fencer also in the squad. Also at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona Dobmeier was the replacement fencer next building, Fichtel, radio Hauser and Monika Weber. But Dobmeier came to some missions, they won a battle against the United team, the successor of the Soviet Union team in the semifinals. In the final against Italy Dobmeier lost two battles and was with her colleagues the silver medal.
