Antibubble

Anti bubbles exist exclusively within liquid and consist of a spherical amount of fluid, surrounded by a membrane of air.

They have so far been explored only once scientifically. The Belgian scientist Stéphane Dorboló, Herve Caps and Nicolas Vandewalle of the University of Liège, the bubbles generated both in beer and in rinsing water and have described scientifically in 2003. Was first observed the phenomenon already in 1932.

2005, scientists Michiel Postema (Ruhr - University Bochum), Nico de Jong presented (Erasmus MC, Rotterdam) Georg Schmitz ( Ruhr- University Bochum) and Annemieke van Wamel (Erasmus MC, Rotterdam) High-speed imaging of anti- bubble formation with the aid of ultrasound.
