Antje Frank

Antje Frank ( born June 5, 1968 in Bartmannshagen ) is a former rower from the German Democratic Republic, which for Germany won an Olympic bronze medal in 1992.

Antje Frank from the SC Dynamo Berlin in 1989 was third in the East German championship in four without coxswain. The following year she won, now starting for the SC Berlin, the East German titles in four without, together with Judith Zeidler, Jeannette Barth and Kathrin Haacker. On the last show of the East German rowing team at the 1990 World Cup in Tasmania the foursome won the bronze medal behind the quad from the Federal Republic of Germany.

1991 Antje Frank stepped up to the World Championship with the eighth and finished fifth. In 1992 she moved back to the quad. Together with her team mate Annette Hohn, who is now starting for Dortmund Birte Siech and Essenerin Gabriele flour Antje Frank won the German championship title. At the Olympic Games in 1992, the boat finished in third place behind the boats from Canada and the United States. 1993 won the foursomes with Ina Justh for Annette scorn again the German Cup.
