Anton Henry, Count of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen

Anton Heinrich of Schwarzburg- Sondershausen ( born October 7, 1571 Special Hausen; † August 10, 1638 ibid ) reigned 1594-1638 as Count of Schwarzburg- Sondershausen.

Life

Count Anton Heinrich was the son of Count Johann Günther I of Schwarzburg- Sondershausen (1532-1586), and his wife Countess Anna (1539-1579), daughter of Count Anton I. von Oldenburg- Delmenhorst.

When his father died, he was still a minor as well as his brothers and they were under the guardianship of their uncle, Count John VII (1540-1603) and Anton II (1550-1619) of Oldenburg, and later they ruled jointly. But He took on the government's work the most, especially in honsteinischen inheritance dispute.

In the Thirty Years' War, the county had, especially Arnstadt and environment, to suffer through billeting and other burdens of war on the most terrible. However, the brothers tried doing their best to alleviate the dread hereafter.

Count Anton Heinrich died in 1638 unmarried. From a non-marital relationship he had descendants.
