Anton Kokorin

Anton Sergeyevich Kokorin ( russian Антон Сергеевич Кокорин; born April 5, 1987 in Tashkent, Soviet Union ) is a Russian athlete who specializes in the 400 -meter run.

In 2006 he took part in the IAAF World Junior Championships in Beijing, reaching in the 400 -meter run, the semi-finals. About the same distance, he became in 2007 Russian U23 champion and fourth at the U23 European Athletics Championships in Debrecen.

At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 he won the bronze medal with the Russian 4 x 400 - meter relay. With a time 2:58,06 min. scored the season a Russian national record in this discipline.

Anton Kokorin has a competition weight of 78 kg at a height of 1.84 m.
