Antonio Brancaccio

Antonio Brancaccio ( born February 12, 1923 in Maddaloni, Caserta Province; † August 26, 1995 in Göttingen ) was an Italian judges and non-party politician.

Life

Brancaccio studied post-school law, was appointed ( in giurisprudenza Laurea ) after the conclusion of the judge and recently rose from 1986 to 1995 as President of the Court of Cassation (Supreme Court of Cassation ) on, the highest court of ordinary jurisdiction of Italy.

On January 17, 1995, the non-party Brancaccio interior minister and held that office until his replacement for health reasons on 8 June 1995, but remained as Minister without Portfolio in the Cabinet Member of Prime Minister Lamberto Dini.

Most recently he was undergoing treatment in a hospital in Göttingen, where he died shortly afterwards of a brain tumor.
