Antonio Iovine

Antonio Iovine ( born September 20, 1964 in San Cipriano d' Aversa, Caserta ) is an Italian member of the Camorra and the leader of the Casalesi clan from Casal di Principe. His nickname is " o'ninno " ( the baby), because of his children face that he had when he became head of the criminal group was very early. He was sentenced on 19 June 2008 in absentia to life imprisonment.

From 1996 until his arrest on 17 November 2010, the Italian Interior Ministry led him on the most wanted list, including murder. An international arrest warrant was issued on 10 August 1999.

Iovine is referred to as waste Minister of the Camorra. According to the journalists, writers and Mafia expert Roberto Saviano controls the organization in Campania the entire waste management branch with an estimated annual turnover of 880 million U.S. dollars.

After the completion of the decade-long Processo Spartacus ( Spartacus process), he was sentenced on 19 June 2008 along with 35 other members of the Casalesi clan of murder and other offenses in absentia to life imprisonment. Together with the wider end of 2011 Michele Zagaria, he was viewed by the court as a leader of the clan. The sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court of Cassation in Rome on January 15, 2010.

After a 14-year run, he was taken on November 17, 2010 in a house in Casal di Principe.
