Antonio Pacenza

Antonio Pacenza ( born March 18, 1928 in Buenos Aires, Argentina; † 7 February 1999) was an Argentine boxer.

Career

Highlight of his career was the boxer winning the silver medal at the 1952 Olympics in Helsinki in the light heavyweight division. He lost in the final against the Americans Norvel Lee on points.

However, his subsequent two-year professional career was rather inconsequential. Among his four losses is also the only title fight, which he denied. On December 30, 1953, he lost the battle for the vacant Argentine league title in the light heavyweight division by KO in the ninth round.
