Antonio Troyo Calderón

Antonio Troyo Calderón ( born October 18, 1923 in Cartago ) is Emeritus Auxiliary Bishop of San José de Costa Rica.

Life

Antonio Troyo Calderón received on 30 November 1947, and was ordained priest incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of San José de Costa Rica.

John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop on 27 August 1979 in San José de Costa Rica and Titular Bishop of Burca. The Archbishop of San José de Costa Rica Román Arrieta Villalobos personally consecrated him on 21 September of the same year the bishop; Were co-consecrators Ignacio Trejos Nazareno Picado, Bishop of San Isidro de El General, José Rafael Barquero Arce, Auxiliary Bishop of Alajuela.
