Antonov An-50

The Antonov An -50 was one of the Ukrainian manufacturer Antonov project for a transport aircraft, which should be modeled on the successful An-24/An-26-Baureihen.

The plans called for basically a equipped with four jet engines of the type Ivchenko AI -25 An- 26. It is worth mentioning that two engines should be attached to only one pylon, similar to how it was implemented at the Boeing B -52. The An- 50 never left the project stage.
