When anuria is called:

• In humans, urine production (Greek ούρα = urine ) of less than 100 mL in 24 hours; in veterinary medicine apply, depending on species other quantities. It is the real, caused by kidney damage, renal anuria prerenal from a conditional and a - false distinction, post- renal anuria caused - at closure of the urinary tract.
• The congenital absence of the tail (Greek ουρά = tail) in animals.
