Aorere River

The Aorere River is a river in the region Tasman on the South Island.
The source is located on the north flank of the Range Dommet the Tasman Mountains in the Kahurangi National Park. The river flows for 40 km in a northerly and north-easterly direction and flows near Collingwood in Golden Bay.
The most important of the numerous discharges into the river streams and tributaries are Spey, Boulder and Slate River, the only settlements on the river, in addition to Collingwood Bainham, Rockville and Aoere.
