Apache James

James is a free mail server, which is developed by the Apache Software Foundation. He is one of their main projects.

The special feature of the software architecture of the server is to implement so-called Mailets. Servlets are similar Mailets small, replaceable program parts that can offer different services. In this way, users can for example be possible to James through e-mails to control.
