But the situation is getting worse, as Domitian orders that within 30 days of every citizen in the Roman Empire must worship him as a deity.

The Christians are then encouraged John to continue to believe in Jesus of Nazareth. For the apostle receives visions of an approaching kingdom of heaven, from the end of the world and the coming of the Messiah.

In parallel with the fate of John ' the love relationship of the Roman Valerius is portrayed with the Christian Irene.

Trivia

In order to display the last book of the Bible, " Revelation of John " credible, special effects were used in this film, in the aggregate more than any film in the series before.

Reviews

" The visions of John are visually impressive staged. Apart from that, the film has no visual highlights - must be a Bible movie but not necessarily have. Unfortunately, it dissolves in content rarely from the tired old clichés: The Romans are cunning, cruel or crazy, Christians suffer nobly, the Jews are wise and dignified - and the Christian message remains somewhere on this route. . Pity - a little exciting ending to a series that had moved to introduce modern films a new audience to the themes of the Bible and in this sense also had some promising posts ( rating: 3 stars out of possible 5 corresponds to "ok" ) "
