Apollodotus II

Apollodotos II ( Greek " Gift of Apollo " ) was an Indo - Greek king who ruled around 80-65 BC.

Apollodotos II is as good as his coins known, especially in the Punjab found themselves what will have met his domain. Its coins show on the front mostly his portrait and Greek legends on the back is a picture of a standing Athena with legends in Kharoshthi. Other coins show an Apollo on the front, certainly as a reference to the name of the ruler. One of his coins have been overprinted by Zoilos II.
