Apolo Nsibambi

Apolo Nsibambi (* 1938) is a Ugandan politician. He was Prime Minister of Uganda from 1999 to 2011.

Life

Before he became a minister, he was director of the Institute of Social Research at Makerere University. Nsibambi was Minister of Information from 1996 to 1998, then from May 1998 to April 1999 Minister of Education and has since April 5, 1999 Prime Minister of Uganda.
