Apostolic Vicariate of Darién

The Vicariate Apostolic of Darién (Latin: apostolicus Vicariatus darienensis ) is a Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicariate with its headquarters in Metetí in Panama. It includes the province of Darién and the indigenous territories Emberá - Wounaan and Kuna de Wargandi.

Pope Pius XI. formed on 29 November 1925, the Vicariate Apostolic of Darién cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Panama. On December 15, 1988, entered parts of its territory from the newly established Diocese of Colón.
