Apostolic Vicariate of Soddo–Hosanna

The Apostolic Vicariate of Soddo (Latin apostolicus Vicariatus Soddensis ) is located in Ethiopia Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicariate with its headquarters in Soddo.

History

Pope Pius XII. founded the Apostolic Prefecture Hosanna to the apostolic constitution Quae Utilia on February 13, 1940 annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate Gimma and the Apostolic Prefecture Neghelli.

On December 30, 1977, she took the name, Apostolic Prefecture Soddo - Hosanna to. With the Apostolic Constitution Compertum habentes it was raised on 15 October 1982 Apostolic Vicariate.

On 20 January 2010, the territory was divided into the Vicariate Apostolic of Hosanna and Soddo.
