App.net

App.net is a web-based social network, which was launched on 8 August 2012. The micro -blogging service that allows users to use up to 256 characters per message. The operators of App.net provide web access called alpha available, ask their users to, however, use third-party applications. Since February 25 2013, it is possible to obtain a paying users a free, limited access to App.net. Users with free access to follow messages of up to 40 profiles.
