April Grace
April Grace ( born May 12, 1962 in Lakeland, Florida ) is an American actress.
Biography
Grace made her debut in an episode of the television series China Beach, built in 1990 From 1990 to 1992 she played in the television series Star Trek: . The next century the role of the technician Hubbell. In the comedy Angie (1994 ) she appeared alongside Geena Davis, in the thriller Safe ( 1995) she starred opposite Julianne Moore. In the comedy Playing by Heart (1998 ) she starred alongside Angelina Jolie, Dennis Quaid, Gena Rowlands, Sean Connery and Gillian Anderson one of the bigger roles. In the film drama Waterproof (1999) alongside Burt Reynolds, she took a starring role.
In Magnolia (1999 ) Grace starred opposite Julianne Moore, Tom Cruise, Jason Robards and Alfred Molina. For this role she won the Florida Film Critics Circle Award and was nominated as a member of the actor ensemble for the Screen Actors Guild Award in 2000. From 2003 to 2004 she played the role of policewoman Toni Williams in the television series Joan of Arcadia. In the thriller The Assassination of Richard Nixon (2004) with Sean Penn and Naomi Watts, she played the role of Mae Simmons. Since then, she has appeared before all with appearances in several television series.
