Aravane Rezaï

Aravane Rezai ( born March 14, 1987 in Saint- Étienne ) is a French tennis player of Iranian descent. In October 2010 she was number 15 in the WTA world rankings. Since that year she played for France in the Fed Cup.

Career

2001 and 2005 represented Rezaï Iran at the Women's Islamic Games and each won gold. Immediately thereafter, she was as a French citizen elite player on the WTA Tour. In 2009 she took part in a conference for expatriate Iranians in Tehran, were invited to the hundreds of participants from around the world.
