19th century to today

The Apostolic Vicariate of Sweden was granted in Norway with Royal Resolution of 6 March 1843. August 7, 1868, it became the " mission area sui iuris Norway ". August 17, 1869 was an Apostolic Prefecture. On March 11, 1892 Oslo became part of the Vicariate Apostolic of Norway until it own apostolic vicariate was on 10 April 1931. On June 29, 1953, the Diocese of Oslo was rebuilt.
