Archibald Simpson

Archibald Simpson ( born May 4, 1790 in Aberdeen, † 1847) was a Scottish architect.

Simpson, who was born the son of a cloth merchant, taught in 1813 in Aberdeen, an architectural firm a. Together with his colleague John Smith, he is responsible for the design of the Granite City, Aberdeen. He also worked in various other cities of Scotland. So he designed among other things, the St. Giles Church and the Elgin institution for the support of Old Age and Education of Youth in Elgin.
