Archibald Warden

Archibald Warden ( born May 11, 1869 in Edinburgh, Scotland, † October 7, 1943 ) was a Scottish tennis player.

In the second summer Olympic Games in Paris in 1900 Archibald Warden won a bronze medal. In the mixed competition, he played together with the originating from Bohemia Hedwiga Rosenbaumová. The two were only beaten in the semifinals. They were subject to the Frenchwoman Hélène Prévost and the British Harold Mahoney in two sets 3:6, 0:6. In individual Warden retired in the first round in the quarterfinals and the men's doubles.
