Archie Thompson ( born October 23, 1978 in Otorohanga, New Zealand; actually Archibald Gerald Thompson) is an Australian football player pākehischer and papua of New Guinea origin.

Career

The Australian striker made ​​his international debut on 28 February 2001 in the match against Colombia. He gained worldwide fame on 11 April 2001.
