The Argentine volleyball team of women is a selection of the best Argentine players who represented the country in international tournaments and games.
History
World cup
In the first part in a Volleyball World Championship Argentina 1960 eighth. Followed in 1982 with rank 18, the worst result so far. The tournaments in 1990 and 2002 ended Argentina in the squares 15 and 17
Olympic games
Argentina has never qualified for the Olympics.
South American Championship
After finishing fourth (1951) and five ( 1958), the Argentine women were three times in a row third parties, even in 1964 in their own country. In 1969 they finished fifth, followed by two sixth. From 1975 to 1983 she won five bronze medals. The missed the tournament in 1985 was followed by two fourth and one third place. 1995 and 1997 as well as 2003 and 2005, there was the bronze nine to thirteen. In between the Argentines twice reached the final against Brazil. At the tournament in 2007, there was only enough for fifth place.
World Cup
At the premiere of the World Cup, the Argentineans were 1973 eighth. 1999 and 2003 they finished each eleventh place.
World Grand Prix
The World Grand Prix was previously held without Argentine participation.
