Ariamnes of Cappadocia
Ariaramna / Ariaramnes / Ariamnes († 225 BC) was from about 255 to about 225 BC ruler of Cappadocia. His name means: The Aryans befriedend.
Ariaramna was the eldest of three sons of Ariarathes II Through political marriages - his son Ariarathes was married to the daughter of Antiochus II Stratonike - built Ariaramna his position further. He was succeeded by his son Ariarathes III. , Whom he appointed as far back as co-regent.
