Ariel Award for Best Picture
The Premio Ariel for Best Film (Spanish: Mejor Película de Ariel ) is the highest award for a Mexican film in Mexico. He has been awarded since 1946 by the Academia Mexicana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas. In 1953 the prize was not awarded, as well as between 1959 and 1971.
