Ariel Rotter

Ariel Rotter (born 1973 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine screenwriter and film director.

Biography

Ariel Rotter was born in 1973 in Buenos Aires. In 1992 he began his studies at the still young " Universidad del Cine " in Buenos Aires. He studied film directing, acting, art and photography. He also participated in screenwriting workshops in part with Syd Field (1996) and Marx Axelrod (1998). His film career includes not only the past two feature films, four short films and 120 commercials and 60 video clips in which he has worked in a variety of functions. B.aires - Sólo por hoy is his first feature film and gives an insight into the lives of the inhabitants of a WG from mid-twenties in Buenos Aires. The other, Rotter's latest project was premiered at the 57th Berlin International Film Festival 2007 where it won the Silver Bear ( Jury Prize ). The Silver Bear for Best Actor went to Julio Chavez, who starred in EL OTRO / The Other.
