Aristeidis Grigoriadis

Aristeidis Grigoriadis (Greek Αριστείδης Γρηγοριάδης, December 6, 1985 in Greece) is a Greek swimmer.

Grigoriadis, who belongs to the Greek amateur sports club Aris Thessaloniki, was the first Greek who won a gold medal at a major swimming competition. In the swimming world championships in 2005 in Montreal, he won the 50m backstroke gold medal. A year later at the European Championships in Budapest, he won 100m backstroke in 54.34 seconds and the bronze medal in the 50m backstroke silver.

The European Swimming Championship 2012 in Debrecen, Hungary, he won over the same distance the gold medal in 53.86 seconds before the German Helge Meeuw ( 54.06 ) and the Israeli Yakov - Yan Toumarkin ( 54,14 ).
