Arístides González

Aristides González Ortiz ( born February 12, 1961) is a former middleweight boxers from Puerto Rico and bronze medalist of the Olympic Games of 1984.

Career

Aristides González was during his competitive career 1,86 m tall and punched in the middleweight ( 75 kg ). In the 23th Summer Olympic Games in 1984 in Los Angeles, he won against Otosico Havili from Tonga 4:1, 5:0 Paulo Tuvale from Samoa and Pedro van Raamsdonk from the Netherlands 4-1, before the semi-final against eventual Olympic champion Shin Joon he -sup from South Korea 1:4 defeated and so ended up in third place.
