Arizona State Route 238

The Arizona State Route 238 (abbreviated AZ 238 ) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Arizona, which runs in an east - west direction.

The State Route begins near Mobile, and ends after 33 kilometers in the north of Maricopa at Arizona State Route 347 is about half of the route passes through the AZ 238 the Estrella Sail Port. The road follows the line of the Southern Pacific Railroad between Maricopa and Gila Bend. The western section of the AZ 238 is not officially belonging to the State Route system and is called the Maricopa County Road 238.

The road was declared in 1986 to Arizona State Route and should serve as a connection to a planned waste incinerator. The asphalting of the entire connection between Maricopa and Gila Brend was completed in the late 1990s.
