Arizona State Route 92

The Arizona State Route 92 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Arizona, which runs only in north-south direction and then in an east-west direction.

The State Route begins at the Arizona State Route 90 near Sierra Vista and terminates near Bisbee at Arizona State Route 80 Near Bisbee is the town of Naco. The road between Bisbee and Naco is traveled a lot due to the nearby Bisbee Municipal Airport.

History

The highway was built in the 1930s between Whetstone and Bisbee. After the Arizona State Route 90 was built in the 1960s, was the part between Whetstone and Sierra Vista now to State Route 90 This can be seen even at the north end of State Route 92.
