Arkaitz Durán
Arkaitz Durán Aroca ( born May 18, 1986 in Vitoria ) is a Spanish cyclist.
Arkaitz Durán is the son of Benito Duran, a former Spanish cyclocross riders.
Career
Durán started his professional career in 2006 with the Spanish ProTour team Saunier Duval- Prodir. In the Basque Euskal Bizikleta occupied the 54th place in the overall standings. He was also 28th in the Spanish -day race Klasika Primavera. In the 2007 season he finished second in the race 100 Years for a Million Trees, a race that his team Saunier Duval fought out for a good cause in Mali.
