Armacao dos Buzios ( briefly also Búzios ) is a town on the Costa do Sol northeast of the metropolis of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

Since its "discovery" by Brigitte Bardot and Jacques Cousteau in 1964 applies Búzios, formerly a sleepy fishing village, known as the " Pearl of the Costa do Sol " ( Sun Coast) east of Rio de Janeiro. Until 1997, Búzios was a district of the city of Cabo Frio, since it is an independent municipality with an area of 69 km ².
