ARMOR Doppler Weather Radar

ARMOR (Advanced Radar for Meteorological and Operational Research) is a Doppler radar system. Such a system is at Huntsville International Airport in Huntsville, Alabama. The system there has been jointly developed by the tv station WHNT - TV and the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Two other systems are located on the French scout ship Monge.
