Arrondissement of Melun

The Melun Arrondissement is an administrative unit of the department of Seine- et- Marne in the French region of Ile- de -France. Capital ( seat of the prefecture ) is Melun.

With effect from 1 January 2006, the Canton of Rozay -en- Brie changed during an administrative territorial reform by the district to Melun Arrondissement Provins.

The district consists of 10 cantons and 91 municipalities.
