Arroyo Grande Valley AVA

Arroyo Grande Valley AVA ( recognized since 4 January 1990) is an American Viticultural Area in the U.S. state of California. The area is located in the administrative area of ​​San Luis Obispo County, southeast of the city of San Luis Obispo. The vineyard is part of the larger Central Coast AVA, bordering the Edna Valley AVA. The nearly 26 -km-long valley benefits from an east-west orientation. This allows the cooling mist and sea breezes of the Pacific Ocean moderating effect on the climate.
