Art Thibert

Arthur "Art " Thibert is an American comic book artist.

Life and work

Thibert, who works both as a pencil or as a technical pen, has worked in the past, especially for the leading U.S. comic publishers, DC Comics and Marvel Comics.

For DC, he designed a number of years various Superman series, among other things, in tandem with the artist Dan Jurgens. These were followed by work on series such as Time Masters, The Flash, The Outsiders and Armageddon 2001. Drew for Marvel Comics Thibert mainly produce various series of the X -Men- labels in the 1990s.

In 1989, Thibert the Hack Shack Studios (HSS ), one of the first U.S. company that has specialized in drawings to revise mascara moderately on behalf of comic publishers, advertising agencies and magazines.

In addition, Thibert has created several comic series, which he indeed publish commercial publishers can, for which he has, however, reserved the copyrights themselves, such as: Chrono Mechanics, HIT and the Nightmare files.

Away from the comic industry Thibert has worked as an artist for film studios and producers of video games.

For his work as a technical pen Thibert was honored over the years with several awards including the Eisner Award, the Harvey Award and the Wizard Award.
