Arthur Derounian

Avedis Boghos Derounian, also Arthur Derounian ( born April 9, 1909 in Alexandroupolis, † April 23, 1991 in New York) was an American journalist of Armenian origin. One of his pseudonyms John Roy Carlson. Under this name he published, among others, the bestseller Under Cover (1943 ) .. For his book Cairo to Damascus, the author moved from 1948 in Arab countries undercover under German National Socialists and former soldiers who were still in the pay of " Grand Mufti ".
