Arthur Wellesley, 2nd Duke of Wellington

Arthur Richard Wellesley, 2nd Duke of Wellington ( born February 3, 1807 in Harley Street, Soho, London, England; † August 13, 1884 at Brighton Railway Station, Brighton, England) was a British general and the second Duke of Wellington.

Arthur Richard was the eldest of two children from the connection between Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, and Catherine Pakenham. He became a soldier like his father and followed this in 1852 as the Duke of Wellington and in any other section titles. He died childless in Brighton.
