The Arts et Métiers ParisTech (formerly Ecole Nationale d' Arts et Métiers, Ensam ) is one of the elite universities of France. The Arts et Métiers is famous for its engineering degree Gadzarts, but also offers two -year Master's studies, and doctoral studies. Today it is one ParisTech.

Students and Studies

Candidates for the almost 1100 studies and boarding places are awarded annually must undergo a recording competition ( concours ). As a rule, they have been two years preparatory classes ( classes préparatoires ) completed offered at selected schools for their part already selected high school seniors. On concours foreigners can participate. Part of it (which usually come from former French colonies or protectorates and have visited there or in France preparatory classes ) takes part in the examination as the French, the others were selected in their universities around the world and compete in a concours internationally for the few places.
