Arturo Lona Reyes

Arturo Lona Reyes ( born November 1, 1925 in Aguascalientes ) is retired bishop of Tehuantepec.

Life

Arturo Lona Reyes received on August 15, 1952, the ordination. Pope Paul VI. appointed him on May 4, 1971 for the Bishop of Tehuantepec.

The Bishop Emeritus of Huejutla, Manuel Jerónimo Yerena y Camarena, gave him on 15 August of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Sefafín Elizalde Vásquez, Bishop of Huejutla, and Bartolomé Carrasco Briseño, Bishop of Tapachula.

On November 25, 2000 Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
