AS Aix

The Association Sportive Aixoise is located a French football club based in Aix -en- Provence, a town in the department of Bouches -du -Rhône to the north of Marseille.

The ASA was built in 1941 following a merger of two clubs ( FC and U.S. Aix ) as AS d' Aix. This was the name of the club until 1992 when it was dissolved after bankruptcy and re-established under its current name. The club colors are blue and white; league team formerly played at the Stade du tholonet and today at the Stade Georges Carcassonne, which has a capacity of 2,000 seats.

League membership

Professional status has owned 1953-1972 Aix. First class (Division 1 since 2002 in Ligue 1 renamed) the club played only in the 1967/68 season, from 1953-1967 and 1968-1972 also in Division 2; in the 2013/14 season, he takes in the sechstklassigen Division d'Honneur.
